Obituary for Karen E. Demers
Karen Elizabeth Demers, 64, of Bethlehem, formerly of Edison, NJ, entered eternal life on December 30, 2016 while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Michael Pollara who passed away in 2005. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Elizabeth (Mahon) Demers. She worked various jobs in her life but most important to her were her children and granddaughter.
Survivors: she is survived by her sons, Michael T. Demers and his wife Joanne of Breinigsville; Jared McDonald of Trenton, NJ; brother, Michael J. Demers and his wife Judith of Perth Amboy, NJ; sisters, Rosemary Headley and her husband Ralph of Bricktown, NJ; Janet Woodall and her husband Richard of Tampa, FL; sister in law, Eva Demers of Hillburn, NY and granddaughter, Rhiannon Demers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Demers in 1992 and a brother, Andrew Demers in 2014.
Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Services, Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem, PA 1801; where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
