Our sincere condolences, Gloria, Mark, Gretchen and family. Ken was a wonderful person with a keen memorable sense of humor. The world has lost a very special person. May God enfold you all in His loving arms.
Ken was a dear friend who will be in my heart forever. There is so much I could say about Ken, but none of it would be adequate. I have fond memories of his days as a baseball player for the Materials Sci. Department and the many chats we had while he was assistant chair and after he retired. He was always available for students and staff and was a reliable and respectful person to all. We joked a lot and the phrase "older than dirt" was always sure to produce a few laughs. I have fond memories of dancing with Ken at my wedding 32 years ago. I always enjoyed his beautiful voice at the concerts I attended. I'll miss our conversations about religion and our exchanges about our grandchildren. He was such a gentleman and all round good person. May he rest in peace. Matthew 25:21 "Well done, thou good and faithful servant"
