Uncle Gerald, I'm sorry for your loss. I will always remember Russell's warm and loving spirit. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome. May God comfort you and give you peace during this difficult time.

We will miss you. We could always count on your warm hospitality. The summer parties in the mountain home. Family and friends enjoying spending the holiday with you and Gerald with great food, hugs and kisses, games, and good companions. Mom always enjoyed our visits at Christmas. Seeing your tree was a highlight of the visit. Rest in peace, Russ.

I'll always remember Russell as a shining beacon. He was welcoming and friendly, kept a positive attitude, was a great cook and continuously offered his warm hospitality to all who would accept it. He was one-of-a-kind and will surely be missed. From now on, his friends in heaven will be very lucky to enjoy his fantastic applebutter. May you rest in peace, Russell

You will be sadly missed by family and friends. You were always there, in the middle of our lives with your hospitality and thoughtfulness. Always trying to be helpful with the latest recipe or grocery store sale. Who will we count on now? But I guess it's time for that restful slumber, warm in the evening sun, where dear ones wait after the race is run. Going to that peace-filled garden where they call me still, the sun-splashed walls of home where they live.
