Obituary for Robert Steidinger

Robert  Steidinger
Robert M. Steidinger, 77, of Bethlehem, entered eternal life on September 13, 2016, He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara (Schultz) Steidinger. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Uttard) Steidinger. A graduate of Liberty H.S. in 1958, he entered the Marine Corp and transferred to the Army, serving during Viet Nam. He was a firefighter with the City of Bethlehem for 38 years and also worked 35 years as a school bus driver for the B.A.S.D. before retiring. He attended St. Anne's R. C. Church, Bethlehem. He was also a member of the Bethlehem Firefighters Local #735, Northend Wanderers, Triboro Sportsman's Club and Teamsters Local 773.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Barbara are a son, Timothy Steidinger, of Bethlehem Twp.; daughters, Susan Steidinger, Ann Steidinger, Clareese Steidinger all of Bethlehem; sister Eleanor Kuhns of Bethlehem, 5 grandchildren, Crystal, Megan, Amy, Howard III, Matthew and 7 great grandchildren.

Services: Visitation Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem, with a funeral service to take place on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anne's R. C. Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Broadheadsville.
