Edward R. Mackie, 82, of Breinigsville, Upper Macungie Twp., entered eternal life on October 6, 2014. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Eileen (Kenny) Mackie. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and later attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a degree in Economics in 1960. He later went on to work as a production scheduler for Bethlehem Steel, retiring as a supervisor in 1994.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Eileen, are a daughter, Marybeth Benko and her husband Steve of Maryland; sons, Stephen Mackie and his wife Carleen of Fountain Hill; Timothy Mackie of Nazareth; Christopher Mackie of Lawrence PA; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was precededdeath by a brother, William Mackie.

Services: Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
