Martin J. Hildenberger, 72, of Fountain Hill, entered eternal life in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 6, 2019 while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House and his family. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Catherine C. (Bender) Hildenberger. He served in the U.S. Army and last work for many years in sales for F. L. Schmidt Co. (formerly the Fuller Company) until retiring. He was of the Catholic faith and most recently belonged to Assumption BVM Church, Bethlehem. He was also a member of the Fountain Hill Democratic Club and St. Bernard's.

Survivors: Marty is survived by his daughter, Christine L. Horton (Bruce) of Antlers, OK; sister Catherine "Kate" Hildenberger of Fountain Hill; granddaughter, Savannah and many cousins.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, Jan.10th from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 10:30 a.m. all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Burial Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to St. Luke's Hospice House or St. Luke's Cancer Center both C/O Development Office, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem PA 18015
