Condolence From: Joseph and Kathleen Romanelli
Condolence: Dear Kathy and Family
I was attempting to reconnect with Mike and you recently and was deeply saddened to learn of Mike's death in January. On reflection, when I met you and Mike during my first days at Mt. St. Mary's, it was truly a high-point during my studies for the priesthood. Mike was always such a kind, gentle, and faithful man; when I left the Seminary and began the next phase of life, Mike became my inspiration and example of what a good family man is. He was the man that I aspired to be and even though we only saw each other occasionally over the years, I shall keep him firmly in my fondest memories. Mike will be greatly missed Kathy and I will make it a point to ask him to pray for us as I'm certain he is now with the Lord.
May God keep you in the palm of his hand.

Condolence: All the way back to 1986, the Scheerer's have become a second family. So many good memories... swimming over the long summer days, Spartan X-Co and track, Ocean City Maryland and Phillips, trips to both South Bend and East Rutherford to take in some Notre Dame football, helping him to build a shed, and all the wonderful times at their home over the holidays with the festivities including music, movies, or playing a board game. Time well spent with plenty of fun and laughter, especially when it came time for Mike to bring out the boom-ba and start jammin' around the piano.

Mike was especially there as a mentor, going over some job interview technique and preparation with me a few years back. Overall, the time and support went a long, long way, and will continue to do so.

Condolence: Dear Kathy & Family,
Please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of Michael. May your hearts be comforted in knowing that he is with our heavenly Father until you are all together again.
Memories from high school and my history teacher who later married one of my best friends will always be a memory that brings a smile. Wonderful memories of years gone by that I’ll forever treasure.
Wishing you peace, love and comfort 🕊
