Sharon K.  Coombs (Nevins)
Sharon Kathryn (Nevins) Coombs, 77, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Saturday evening,, April 28, 2018 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Thomas W. Coombs. Born in Passaic, and raised in Nutley, NJ, she was a daughter of the late David and Margaret (Hart) Nevins. A job dear to her heart was working as manager of the Bangor General Store for many years before retiring in 2005, where she made many friends and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed gardening and loved making baskets with her friends Judi, Cookie, Linda, Terri and Shelly. She attended Wesley Methodist Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Thomas W. Coombs; she is survived by her sister, Maureen Healey and her husband Thomas of Hoover, AL; niece, Kathleen Healey; nephews, Shawn Healey and his wife, Bonnie; Brian Healey and his wife, Mary; stepchildren, Jennifer Coombs, Robert Coombs; 5 step-grandchildren; sister in law, Linda Combs and her companion, Dennis; brother in law George Coombs and his wife, Cecilia. She is also survived by her caregivers Kim and Kathryn and childhood friends, Lynda Simonds and her husband, Don; Mike Willis and his wife Diane; Lynn Hanlon Nelson and her husband Jon. She will also be remembered by her many neighbors and friends from her neighborhood and from the Bangor - Slatebelt area. She is will also be missed by her cats Sunshine and Timothy. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Timothy Coombs. She is also survived by her former husband, Robert Cowan, 2 daughters; 1 son; 6 grandchildren.
