Condolences

Condolence From: Mike Stempo
Condolence: Mr. Kresge was a frequent presence in our home, effectively and patiently giving trumpet lessons to our two sons, John and Eric. Every week, as I got home from work and pulled into the driveway, I could hear the sounds of always improving trumpet coming from the living room. My wife enjoyed every moment of those "serenades". Mr. Kresge often made up trumpet mix tapes for the boys. (they just got them out to listen in tribute) He was a talented, effective, patient, and involved teacher and he was the primary reason why both John and Eric became herald trumpeters in the LHSGB. We can all recall those extra special people in our lives who left us better for having known them. Mr. Richard H. Kresge was one such person of distinction in this regard. My thanks to him.

Condolence: I played trumpet next to Dick for 40 years, in the Hanover Big Band. He was a great player, and a very good man! I learned a lot from him, and I will miss him! My Deepest Sympathy to the family.
