Joseph Eugene Petrovec, 86, of Richland Township - Quakertown, passed away in St. Luke's Hospital Fountain Hill on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. He was the former husband of 40 years to Georgia Lee Banister and was the beloved companion for the last 17 years to Chun Monaghan. Born in Flushing, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Teresa (DeVaney) Petrovec. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors: in addition to his companion Chun Monaghan, he is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth T. "Lilli" Liebeskind of Thousand Oaks, CA; Dawn M. Sword and husband Eric of Arlington, VA; son, J. Robert Petrovec and wife Christine of Ft. Collins, CO; brother, David Petrovec of Levittown L.I.; 5 grandchildren and one grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Petrovec.
