Rita A. Kapun, 66, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on January 3, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Kapun with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Fountain Hill she was a daughter of the late Casmir and Helen (Bednarik) Szczepanski. She was a devout parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Church and was active in the Seniors group and various activities of the parish.

Survivors: In addition to her husband Edward, she is survived by her son, Matthew S. Kapun of Hellertown; daughter, Marie N. Embardino and her husband Chris of Lancaster; sister, Rosemarie Szczepanski; brothers, Joseph Szczepanski, and Thomas Szczepanski. She was preceded in death by a brother John Szczepanski in 2008.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, Jan. 8th., at 10:30 a.m. in Incarnation of our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem.
