Obituary for Robert Eugene Daley Sr.

Robert Eugene  Daley Sr.
Robert Eugene Daley, Sr., 85, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Sunday evening, June 4, 2017, in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Angelina "Angie" (Moffo) Daley. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Leo F., Sr. and Ruth (Arthur) Daley. He graduated in 1950 from Easton High School and served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a machinist and later engineering lab supervisor at Victaulic in Forks Twp. for many years until retiring in 1995. Prior he worked for Sheridan Machine and Dixie Cup Corp. He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantel R. C. Church, Palmer Twp.. Bob was an avid golfer and scored two holes-in-one. He loved wood-working and enjoyed working in his yard and gardens. He loved spending time with his doxies, Ricky and Lucy, who will greatly miss their Pop Pop.


Survivors: son, Robert E. Daley, Jr. of Bethlehem Twp.; brother, Gerald Daley of Bangor; sister, Patricia Brindisi (Peter) of Nazareth, and many nieces and nephews including Robert and Dennis Daley. He was preceded in death by brothers, Leo Jr., James, Paul, Richard, Joseph and Jack Daley; sisters, Margaret Gaughran, Catherine Kelly, Ellen Conrad, Ruth Geiger and Jane Macy.

Services: A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, June 14th at 11:00 A.M. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem, where relatives and friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer condolences at www.jamesfuneralhome.org.
